Rob Anagnoson Tasked With Augmenting Product Line-Up and Evolving 21st Century Tech/Software Options for Life Insurers

When Sureify began its search for a new Vice President of Product, the focus was on finding someone who could meet a challenge head-on. The company currently offers a highly regarded platform, Lifetime, and a suite of modules that allow life insurers and annuity providers to easily modernize to meet today’s customer expectations. As Sureify’s innovations for the life insurance/annuity industry continue to evolve, the company searched for a leader with experience, in-depth knowledge of insurtech capabilities, and a vision of what the future can look like for life insurers.

Rob Anagnoson has been chosen to lead the evolution. With extensive experience in the insurtech world and a proven willingness to face business challenges, Anagnoson will be tasked with furthering the advancement of Sureify’s product line to accommodate insurers’ needs.

A former competitive swimmer for Harvard, Rob spent ten years as a product management leader at Guidewire. He then held various roles with other tech companies, finding his niche in developing specific products to meet the complex business needs of the insurance industry. “Sureify has a commitment to offering products that help the life insurance industry to evolve,” he explained. “Improving our current products is one dimension of supporting that evolution. Finding new products to help life insurers better engage with customers and provide a better digital experience is another. I am looking forward to diving into both of these challenges.”

The life insurance industry will benefit greatly from Anagnoson’s understanding of product development and the critical role the right insurtech products can play in an insurer’s success. However, Sureify President Dan Gordon acknowledged that Rob’s personality was as much a factor as his experience in the decision to recruit him. “When you’re looking at reinventing your legacy into a 21st century company – which is where many of our insurance partners are – it’s easy to be overwhelmed,” Gordon explained. “Rob has a steadiness about him that we think will reassure them. I’ve known him for a long time, and I asked him to consider joining us because I knew he was exactly what we were looking for at Sureify – a leader with a vision for helping the Sureify team scale, and the right mix of expertise and experience. I don’t think we could’ve found a better person to fill this role.”

Anagnoson will be responsible for advancing Sureify’s current product line into new capabilities and areas, while exceeding market expectations with exciting new products and software solutions.
